We take security and data privacy seriously. EasyDev implements strict isolation policies, modern encryption standards, and role-based access rules to keep your customer and candidate data secure.
1. Network Security & Data Encryption
We secure every connection and database table using bank-grade cryptographic protocols:
- Data in Transit: All traffic between the client's browser and our gateways (
web-agency-backend-api) is encrypted using TLS 1.3 and signed using SHA-256 certificate handshakes. - Data at Rest: Databases containing client info, credentials, and message histories are hosted on secure, encrypted volumes using industry-standard AES-256 encryption keys managed by AWS Key Management Service (KMS).
- Token Isolation: Authentication cookies are stored as
HttpOnly,Secure, andSameSite=Laxparameters to prevent Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) and Session Hijacking (CSRF).
2. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Access permissions are strictly enforced on our central API Gateway:
- Permissions use the
module:actionnamespace syntax (e.g.,billing:read,users:invite). - Every request is authenticated via JWT Access Tokens. The gateway decodes the token claims and verifies the permissions list before forwarding the request to downstream services.
- We regularly audit access control headers, Content-Security-Policies (CSPs), and session lifetimes to block unauthorized access.
3. Conversational AI & LLM Data Privacy
When using the AI Communication Platform:
- Context Isolation: Your configured prompts and knowledge-base files are restricted to your specific business tenant ID (
x-tenant-id). Other businesses cannot see your data. - AI Training Limits: Message content may be processed by one or more third-party LLM providers (which can include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Groq, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, and Cerebras, with automatic failover for availability). Your prompts, knowledge base files, and customer chats are never used to train our own models, and we do not authorize these providers to use your data to train theirs.
4. Sub-Processors & Data Hosting
We do not sell or trade your data. We share information only with the trusted subprocessors needed to run our infrastructure and payment processing — primarily Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting, and Razorpay (PCI-DSS compliant processor) for payments — plus the LLM providers listed above for AI-powered features. See /privacy for the full, current list.
5. Frequently Asked Questions (Data Security)
- Q: Can I restrict dashboard logins to specific IP addresses?
- A: Not yet — IP allowlisting for dashboard logins isn't available today. If this matters for your workspace, let us know and we'll factor it into the roadmap.
- Q: How often does EasyDev back up my configuration and rule data?
- A: Configuration and rule data is backed up regularly to encrypted, geo-redundant storage. We don't publish an exact backup-frequency SLA today.
- Q: Does EasyDev employees have access to my database tables?
- A: No. Access to production databases requires secure bastion hosts, multi-factor hardware key authentication, and is limited solely to senior DevOps administrators under active logging audits. No customer database access is permitted without explicit support authorization from the customer.
